Let's Go Wild
#154: 31 May 2026 Invade
Two thoughts for today.
First, how does the notion in quantum physics that my consciousness is what manifests my reality play out in my life? Unlike The Secret, it means I stop watching so hard. Letting go of expectation or craving doesn’t mean be lazy or unconcerned, it means allowing the energies to work towards fulfilling my purpose, the highest manifestation of Self I can be. Too often, I watch in fear, afraid I will not have enough, that “lack” will be the mode of operation until I die. This watching, this fear, has real implications:
Physical: there is good stress and bad stress. An example of good is when I exercise; I ‘stress’ my body to strengthen it. Bad stress erodes my body’s ability to heal and regenerate energy for my work. Key to staying of the good side of stress is relaxation and staying fear-free. This is another way of saying avoid a focus on lack, and trust in abundance. Modern is nothing if not focused on lack; not enough money, time, energy, health… Again, not lazy, rather open to a miracle or the grace of the Divine
Energetic: stop emotionally broadcasting lack; shift to what is possible, what can help renew and grow my soul. Trust the energy is enough to accomplish what is best for my growth. We know how Wild builds and sustains good energy; sunlight, grounding, natural, real food, clean water, connection with self, others, and the broad Web of Life. Modern demands we live inside walls and outside of our soul. This keeps me weak.
Spiritual, remember to trust. Miracles happen, if allowed. Fear of lack is a big obstacle for a miracle to overcome. Wild is trusting I will have what I need, not necessarily what I want; but that opens the door to a possibility I haven’t even thought of that serves my greater purpose. For me, prayer is not about pleading for something I think will be best, but relaxing into allowing what’s best for me to show up.
We typically think that letting go of desire, of want, of plotting action and checking progress is lazy and ineffective. We think it is detaching from reality and becoming a door mat, passive and open to being used by others. There is a big difference between lazy avoidance and peaceful trust. When I release the attachment to outcome, allowing what is the best energy I can touch to manifest alongside me, I still show up, I do the work, but I don’t white-knuckle-stress while waiting for the outcome, usually in great fear of lack. I stay open, calm, and trust the Divine to support me in fulfilling my purpose. Wisdom is when I plant a seed, water it, then walk away. If I dig it up every day to check on it, it dies. Patience, Wild one.
Then this:
I have often written that language, words, are important. I came across this and got to thinking…
“Strip a language down for two generations and the loss becomes invisible. The next generation does not know the words are missing because they never had them. The concepts those words used to carry do not get passed forward. Nobody mourns what they do not know they have lost. That is the generational lock. The language work always precedes the physical work, because once the vocabulary is gone, the resistance that would have formed cannot even formulate the thought.”
I’m sure you have already thought of some examples of the meaning changing from what makes sense to what serves Modern, not people. Examples: vaccine implies immunity, but no; “we don’t censor” implies free speech, but no; medicine implies cure, but no. The quote above is important, in a time of changing meaning, usually without notice and only by trickery or context. We hardly notice the loss, which is why it works so well. When my grandparents talked about “food”, it was truly organic and full of vitamins, minerals, and nutrition. Today “food” is very different, highly processed, chemically enhanced, genetically modified, and likely retaining some of the toxic chemicals used the foster rapid growth. If I don’t make an effort, and bear the expense, of serving my daughter real food she wouldn’t know that what’s in the commercial package is nothing at all like food humans ate for most of our existence. She would accept as normal, as “there is no alternative”, the crap that makes a few so rich at the expense of our health. She would defend to the death her right to get her food, wrapped in plastic, from a market because that’s “the only place food comes from”.
There’s also, often, a concern about translation. For example: in the Lord’s Prayer, the line “though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil” has been misinterpreted (color me shocked!), according to some translators.
In English, the word ‘walk’ more accurately should be ‘invade’. Note one can be fierce and nonviolent; overturning the moneychangers’ tables for instance. Invade carries a different feel altogether, when the goal is to avoid remaining passive while approaching transformation. Remember the words from the cross with a meaning that conveyed, not a surrender, but defiance…“I lay down my life willingly, you do not take it”. It is my choice, not yours. Invade is more accurate in the Prayer: “though I invade the valley of death, I will fear no evil”. I come to transform, not to submit quietly. I suppose if you prefer a passive approach, then walk is still the best. But the Wild in me likes invade better. Passivity has no place in the radical transformation required to get back to Wild without violence. Let’s invade Modern, because we fear no evil. Let’s Go Wild, lovingly but fiercely.
